Updated Provider List Coming Soon
In July, Turquoise posted a list of hospitals that we had found to meet the new technical requirements made effective July 1st, 2024: a .txt file in the root of the hospital’s page, and conformance to the new V2.0 schema.
Our intent was to highlight hospitals’ significant efforts to publish transparent pricing to consumers in accordance with the Hospital Price Transparency Rule. Since our initial publication in July, we’ve received inquiries regarding our methodology for evaluating the technical requirements (specifically the .txt file) and our cadence for re-checking hospital websites. We plan to relaunch our MRF tracker alongside refreshed documentation shortly.
We are eager to showcase widespread efforts across the country to provide patients with transparent prices. To learn more about our plans to revise our MRF Tracker and to send us feedback, read our latest blog post here.
